The Justice and Development Party (PJD) responded vehemently to the video, condemning it for containing what they described as "grave misrepresentations regarding the Moroccan Sahara." They emphasized that the flotilla was initially formed by activists from various countries with the primary mission of alleviating the blockade on Gaza, and thus should not have ventured into unrelated political matters. The PJD's General Secretariat characterized the video as a "serious mistake and a dangerous breach" that could jeopardize the flotilla's support among Moroccans. They reiterated that the historical and legal facts surrounding Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara are well-established and supported by UN Security Council resolutions, underscoring a national consensus on the issue.
