Passenger Traffic at Fès–Saïs Airport Surges Despite Slight Decline
According to the latest report from the National Airports Office, Fès–Saïs Airport has seen a total of 598,116 passengers travel through its facilities by the end of April 2026. This figure reveals a marginal decline compared to the 613,617 passengers recorded during the same period last year, reflecting a decrease of 2.53%. The month of April alone accounted for 176,023 passengers, down 3.85% from 183,067 in April 2025.
In terms of aircraft movements, the airport reported 4,057 operations, which represents a decrease of 3.84% compared to 4,219 movements at the end of April 2025. On a broader scale, commercial air traffic across Moroccan airports reached an impressive 12,336,962 passengers by the end of April 2026, indicating a significant increase of 9.7% compared to the same timeframe last year. This uptick in passenger numbers signals a robust recovery in the aviation sector and highlights the importance of Fès–Saïs Airport in facilitating regional and international travel.
