Palestinian Startups Participate in GITEX Africa 2026

In a significant showcase of innovation and technological prowess, six Palestinian startups are set to participate in the fourth edition of GITEX Africa, hosted in Marrakech from April 5 to April 9, 2026. This participation is bolstered by the support of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, which operates under the auspices of the Al-Quds Committee, led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. This marks the agency's third consecutive year at the event, thanks to a financial contribution from the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform. The agency will feature a dedicated institutional booth and a section reserved for the "BMAQ Innovation Hub," which is focused on fostering renewal and innovation.

The selection of the participating Palestinian companies was made through a meticulous process developed in collaboration with a specialized team from Al-Quds University. This year's representation encompasses a range of innovative fields. Among the participants is the "Burhan" platform, which employs artificial intelligence to guide career paths through psychological assessments. Additionally, the "App Grow" application aims to digitize nursery services and enhance communication between educators and parents.

Moreover, the "HowAISees" platform specializes in utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance e-commerce and marketing experiences. Another significant entry is "Labebo," which provides innovative solutions for remote therapy and rehabilitation for children via interactive 3D technologies. The "QREDIT" platform will also be present, offering digital payment services tailored for small and medium enterprises. Lastly, the "Hives 360" system, which leverages the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve beekeeping productivity through smart monitoring and data analysis, will highlight the diversity and creativity of Palestinian entrepreneurship.

Throughout the exhibition, which runs until April 9, 2026, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency will host a series of professional activities, including presentations from the participating companies and bilateral meetings with Moroccan and international stakeholders to explore partnership opportunities and market expansion. The agency has emphasized that this participation represents a unique opportunity to enhance the role of Palestinian companies in supporting economic and social development, particularly in Jerusalem. This aligns with their digital strategy objectives for the 2024-2027 period, reflecting a commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration.
