The General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM) made an important announcement on Tuesday, March 10, revealing that it has awarded its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) label to Pharma 5. Additionally, this prestigious recognition has been renewed for the Casablanca Stock Exchange and Les Eaux Minérales d’Oulmès. This decision results from a meeting held by the Label Attribution Committee, as indicated in a statement from CGEM.
This recognition serves to honor the commitment of these companies to CSR and their ability to systematically incorporate the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders into their operations. It also signifies a new phase in their ongoing efforts to enhance and solidify their responsible practices, according to the same source.
The CGEM's CSR label encourages Moroccan companies to adopt a comprehensive approach by integrating economic, social, and environmental imperatives at the core of their management strategies. The label is granted for a period of three years by the presidency of CGEM, based on the recommendation of the Attribution Committee, following a managerial evaluation conducted by an independent accredited expert. Renewal occurs under the same conditions but with a higher level of requirements than the previous evaluation.
