A Collective Effort Towards Political and Organizational Revitalization
In a demonstration of collective will aimed at reclaiming political and organizational initiative, the region of Inzalat L'Azem, located on the outskirts of Ibn Jirir city, hosted an expansive communication and organizational meeting for the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This gathering marked a significant turning point in the party's local trajectory.
The meeting was graced by a considerable presence of party leaders, elected officials, and influential figures from the region, including Political Bureau member Ahmed Twaizi, regional secretary Sidi Mohamed Salah Al-Khayr, parliamentarian Abdel Latif Al-Zaeem, Ibn Jirir municipal council president Abdel Latif Wardi, and regional council representative Zohour Al-Ghandour. The event also featured the regional youth organization coordinator Yassine Jender, alongside heads of local councils and party members from various areas of the region.
Addressing Challenges and Building a Unified Future
This meeting served as a crucial opportunity to assess the organizational status of the party in Ibn Jirir and to reflect on the various challenges faced during the previous phase. It allowed for a responsible political and organizational discussion on how to rebuild the local organization on strong foundations characterized by openness, unity, and collective effort.
Participants emphasized that the current phase necessitates overcoming past disagreements and sensitivities, pushing forward into a new dynamic focused on unity and inclusivity. There was a strong call for the return of all party talents and competencies, including those who were founders or who had distanced themselves from the organization in recent years.
Moreover, it was stressed that the strength of the party lies not only in its electoral representation but also in its ability to embrace all its members and value the struggles of its activists. This inclusivity is vital for constructing a robust and rooted organization capable of adapting to the changes occurring in both the city and the wider region.
The meeting also featured extensive discussions on development challenges within the Al-Rahamina region and the essential role that the party should play in guiding citizens and advocating for their concerns, especially in light of the major development projects taking place in Ibn Jirir. Such initiatives necessitate enhancing the political and field presence of the party, enabling it to serve as an effective partner in formulating developmental alternatives and solutions.
All attendees concurred that the upcoming phase requires infusing new blood into organizational structures and restoring the significance of party work that is close to the citizens and attentive to their needs. There is a pressing need to bolster the involvement of youth, women, and local talents within various party apparatuses, which would reinforce the principles of turnover and renewal, thereby providing the organization with greater dynamism.
At the conclusion of this meeting, a preparatory committee was unanimously approved to prepare for the local conference of the Authenticity and Modernity Party in Ibn Jirir at the earliest opportunity. This initiative will adopt a participatory approach to ensure the involvement of all party components and factions, paving the way for the election of a new local leadership capable of continuing the journey of organizational development and enhancing the party's visibility at the local level.
