Postponement of Trial for Agent Accused of Defrauding Former Raja Player Abdel Fattah Boukhreis

Trial Delayed for Agent Accused of Fraud

The ordinary criminal chamber of the First Instance Court in Fez has postponed the trial concerning the fraud case involving Abdel Fattah Boukhreis, a former player of Raja Casablanca. The case revolves around allegations against an agent who is currently out on bail following a decision by the investigating judge. The victim, Boukhreis, filed a complaint against the agent, which has prompted the public prosecutor to take action.

During the latest court session, the judge granted an additional adjournment to both the defendant and the involved parties. This case, which has been under consideration since October 35 of the previous year, has been postponed multiple times for various reasons. The court has now set a new date for the continuation of the trial on Wednesday, May 6.

The agent faces charges of fraud and the forgery of a private document, as well as the use of that document. The investigation judge in Fez took up the case following a complaint submitted by Boukhreis through his legal counsel, seeking compensation for the damages incurred.

The accused agent denies all allegations, claiming he did not defraud the player or forge any contract. However, the investigating judge is convinced that there is substantial evidence proving the agent's involvement in the forgery and that he exploited a contract with Boukhreis, falsifying his signature without the player's presence before submitting the document to the relevant authorities. This fraudulent act allegedly resulted in the agent receiving 400,000 dirhams from the Raja team, which is now in dispute with Boukhreis over the matter.
