The initiative specifically addresses the needs of 100 children afflicted by severe deafness, with a significant component of the program launched in Nairobi on November 5, 2025. Under this collaborative effort, 70 children from Nairobi are receiving cochlear implants, while an additional 30 children from Kenya are hosted in Morocco for the same life-changing procedure. Notably, ten of these children have been treated in Morocco following the same healthcare pathway available to Moroccan patients, exemplifying a seamless integration of care across borders.

In conjunction with the "United, We Hear Each Other Better" program, the Lalla Asmaa Foundation is also advancing its national "NASMAA" campaign, which has been simultaneously implemented across five Moroccan cities—Rabat, Casablanca, Fez, Marrakesh, and Oujda—at five hospital facilities. This innovative campaign has successfully enabled 1,050 Moroccan patients to receive cochlear implants at no cost, surpassing the significant milestone of 1,000 treated patients, and marking a historic inclusion of adult recipients for the first time, with ages reaching as high as 56 in Marrakesh and 41 and 62 in Fez.
