Teacher Arrested for Assisting Cheating in Baccalaureate Exams
In a significant crackdown on exam malpractice, the public prosecutor's office in the town of Imintanoute has ordered the detention of a private school teacher at the Oudaya prison. This decision follows the teacher's involvement in an alarming case concerning assistance provided to candidates during their baccalaureate examinations from outside the testing centers.
According to sources from the news outlet, the incident came to light thanks to the vigilance of security personnel in the city of Chichaoua. They noticed the teacher's suspicious activities, which included providing unauthorized help to students preparing for the critical baccalaureate exams. This prompted an extensive surveillance operation aimed at uncovering the full extent of his actions.
The investigation revealed that the suspect was allegedly sending answers to several candidates via the messaging application WhatsApp, all from locations outside the examination centers. Initial findings indicated that he was receiving monetary compensation for these illicit services from candidates residing outside of Chichaoua. Interestingly, he was also reported to have assisted one candidate from his own city without demanding any payment in return.
