Rabat Business School Launches Dual Degree Program in International Accounting

The Rabat Business School (RBS), part of the International University of Rabat (UIR), has announced an exciting new initiative to enhance its Master's program in Accounting, Control, and Audit (CCA). This new dual degree pathway, in collaboration with the University of Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF) through the IAE of Valenciennes, aims to cultivate academic excellence and international exposure within the accounting profession. The program, aptly named "Expertise Comptable," is designed to align its curriculum with French and international standards in accounting, auditing, and finance, thereby ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for a competitive global job market.

Students enrolled in this dual degree program will receive academic recognition from both Morocco and France. Furthermore, the curriculum is structured to provide maximum equivalence with the French Diploma of Higher Accounting and Management (DSCG), which is a benchmark in the field of accounting expertise in France. This dual degree validation will allow students to automatically fulfill five of the seven educational units required for the DSCG, while also preparing them for the remaining two units necessary to obtain the Diploma of Accounting Expertise (DEC). According to RBS, this initiative serves as a significant stepping stone towards careers in accounting and facilitates access to essential internships, a crucial step towards achieving the DEC.

Expanding Career Opportunities for Graduates

The career opportunities targeted by this program encompass a wide array of functions, particularly within audit firms, including the prestigious Big Four, financial management, performance control, financial consulting, auditing, and corporate finance. Beyond the academic framework, this dual degree is expected to expose students to European professional practices, thereby enhancing their employability in Francophone and international markets. In addition to this new offering, the CCA Master's program at RBS continues to feature its existing pathway, "360° Vision of Finance," aimed at students wishing to develop a broader expertise in accounting, control, auditing, and finance. With this initiative, Rabat Business School underscores its commitment to delivering high-value training that meets market demands while fostering international engagement.
