The summit is taking place from June 5 to June 7, and its discussions center on the pivotal role of women in driving economic, social, and cultural advancements in Africa.

At the opening session, Nasrallah Belkhayate, President of the Africanity Trophy Foundation (FTA), emphasized the profound changes occurring within Africa, particularly highlighting the increasing influence of women in the continent's development dynamics. He underscored the importance of digital transformation as a crucial lever for societal change across Africa, a topic that is set to feature prominently in the summit's dialogues.

This international gathering includes Moroccan delegations and representatives from various African nations, including Mauritania, Senegal, Niger, Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Burkina Faso, Togo, the Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Cameroon, Chad, and Burundi, along with participants from France and Italy.

Empowering African Women Leaders

The summit aims to promote the strategic role of women in the processes of transformation, innovation, and development across the African continent. According to Nasrallah Belkhayate, this initiative embodies "the ambition of an Africa that believes in its skills, youth, and future." Beyond the discussions on women's leadership, the organizers also envision this event as a platform for dialogue, cooperation, and networking among various African stakeholders.

The explicit goal is to foster synergies among the countries of the continent and strengthen partnerships across diverse fields such as education, entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation. Through this fifth edition, the Africanity Trophy Foundation reaffirms its commitment to enhancing Morocco's role as a diplomatic, economic, and strategic hub on the African scale. The event is being organized in collaboration with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and several institutions dedicated to promoting South-South dialogue and development across the continent.
