Rabat's Al-Fath Forced to Settle for Draw Against Fes

Al-Fath and Fes Share the Spoils in a Hard-Fought Match

In a gripping encounter held at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, the local team Al-Fath Rabat was forced to share the points with Morocco Fes, resulting in a 1-1 draw during the 24th round of the professional league "Inwi" on Friday evening. The match showcased a strategic and tactical display from Al-Fath, who managed to take an early lead in the 13th minute thanks to a goal from player Al-Sawan. Following this, the Fes squad made several attempts to equalize but were unsuccessful, leading to a halftime score of 1-0 in favor of the home team.

After the break, Morocco Fes intensified their efforts in search of an equalizer, with striker Benjida leading the charge. However, the resilient Al-Fath defense, supported by their goalkeeper, thwarted most of the attempts until the 68th minute when player Al-Shabani rose above the defense to head the ball into the net, leveling the score. Despite both teams pushing for a winning goal in the final minutes, their efforts yielded no results, and the match concluded in a well-fought draw of 1-1.

This result leaves Al-Fath Rabat with a total of 30 points, placing them in 9th position, while Morocco Fes climbs to the top of the standings with 46 points, sharing the lead with Renaissance Berkane.
