Raja Club Requests Scheduling of Return Matches After Delayed Fixtures

Raja Club Advocates for Fair Competition in Moroccan Football

Raja Club Athletic, one of Morocco's prominent football teams, has formally reached out to the National Professional Football League regarding the scheduling of return matches in the ongoing professional league. In their statement released on Tuesday, the club emphasized the importance of scheduling these matches after all postponed games from the first half of the season have been completed. The club's management highlighted that they have concluded all their matches related to the first half of the competition, while several other clubs still need to fulfill their delayed fixtures.

This request aims to ensure a level playing field among all participating teams and to maintain the integrity of the league standings and competitive balance. Raja Club reiterated the stipulations outlined in Article 20, paragraph four of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation's competition regulations, which stipulates that all postponed matches from the first half should be played as soon as possible before the commencement of the second half of the season. This is crucial for upholding fairness and transparency within the league.

Notably, clubs such as Olympique Safi, Wydad Casablanca, RS Berkane, and the Royal Army still have outstanding matches from rounds 10, 11, and 12 due to their involvement in the African Confederation Cup and the African Champions League. Raja Club's proactive stance underscores their commitment to competitive integrity and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
