A longtime resident of Cranston and New London, CT, she was the cherished wife of the late Joseph Zannelli. Natalie's vibrant life began on December 21, 1921, in Cranston, where she was born into the loving family of Daniel and Mary (Manze) Morocco. She was the last surviving child among her siblings, who included Alexander Morocco, Daniel Morocco Jr., Theresa Saccoccia, Marie Leone, Margaret O’Brien, Frances Zelano, Lydia Byrne, Blanche Knott, Dorothy Falvo, and Josephine DiZazzo, all of whom have passed before her.

Throughout her life, Natalie exhibited a profound sense of duty and pride, particularly evident in her service as a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. Her contributions during a pivotal time in history reflect her dedication to her country and serve as an inspiration to all who knew her.

Natalie's legacy extends beyond her military service; she is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit.
