Renault Maroc Strengthens Leadership with New Appointments
Renault Maroc has officially announced the appointment of new leadership at the helm of its Renault and Dacia brands in Morocco, reflecting its commitment to enhancing its commercial and marketing leadership in the Moroccan automotive market. Starting October 1, 2026, Mehdi Yaaroub will take over as the General Manager of Renault Morocco, succeeding Mohamed Benani, who is departing from the group.
Mehdi Yaaroub has been a part of the Renault group since 2008, accumulating extensive experience in sales and marketing both locally and internationally. Since 2021, he has been overseeing the marketing strategies for the Renault brand in Morocco, where he has played a pivotal role in repositioning the brand and launching several strategic models. Additionally, he has been serving as the head of the Group of Advertisers in Morocco (GAM) since 2025.
In his new role, Yaaroub will operate under the administrative supervision of Martin Dumez, Vice President in charge of Sales and Operations for Renault in Europe and the Morocco cluster, while reporting functionally to Mohamed Beshiri, the General Manager of Renault Maroc.
On the other hand, Emmanuel Bouvié will assume dual responsibilities as the General Manager of Renault Commerce Maroc and the General Manager of Dacia in Morocco starting November 1, 2026. He will replace Mohamed Beshiri, who has been managing these duties on an interim basis since June 1, 2026.
Bouvié brings nearly 29 years of experience within the Renault group, having held various roles in trade, product management, and marketing across an internationally diverse career that spans Europe and Asia. Notably, he contributed to the early stages of electric vehicle development between 2010 and 2012, before taking on marketing and commercial responsibilities in the Asia-Pacific region and the electric vehicle unit. Since 2021, he has been involved in transforming the marketing strategies of the group’s brands under the Renaulution and FutuREady initiatives.
Emmanuel Bouvié will report administratively to Frank Marot, Vice President responsible for Dacia sales, and functionally to Mohamed Beshiri.
This strategic appointment of experienced executives highlights Renault Group's ongoing efforts to strengthen the presence of its Renault and Dacia brands and solidify their positions within the Moroccan automotive market, leveraging a blend of local market insight and international expertise.
