Lincoln Casablanca: A Historic Revival in Morocco
The iconic Lincoln Hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, is set to undergo a remarkable transformation as it emerges as the Lincoln Casablanca, a Radisson Collection Hotel, slated to open its doors in late 2026. This five-star establishment, currently in the construction phase, will feature 120 elegantly designed rooms, merging the charm of restoration with contemporary hotel design. The project is a significant milestone in the revival of a historic landmark that has been dormant for years, with plans to welcome guests in the fourth quarter of 2026.
A Blend of Heritage and Modern Comfort
Originally built between 1916 and 1918, the Lincoln Hotel was once a prominent destination in Casablanca but fell into disrepair over the decades, suffering partial collapse due to a storm in 2009. Now, Realites Group is spearheading the renovation efforts, focusing on preserving the hotel’s neo-Moorish architecture and historic elements while integrating new features. The design reflects the grandeur of its past, with architect Hubert Bride’s vision being meticulously restored by the talented team at OUALALOU + CHOI, ensuring the hotel retains its historical integrity.
Situated on Avenue Mohammed V, within the heart of Casablanca's Art Deco district, the new hotel will not only restore the classic building but also incorporate modern extensions that provide enhanced hospitality experiences. These new additions will feature coworking spaces, seminar rooms, and inviting patios, creating a dynamic environment for both leisure and business travelers.
Upon completion, guests can expect an array of accommodations, including standard rooms, superior categories, and luxurious Junior Suites, all designed to reflect the cultural essence of Casablanca through contemporary design and local influences. The hotel's culinary offerings will be a focal point, featuring a restaurant, lounge bar, and a rooftop venue complete with a swimming pool and wellness amenities, promising stunning views of the city alongside exceptional dining experiences.
With additional facilities such as fitness and wellness centers, and 250 square meters of versatile meeting spaces that can be adapted for various event formats, Lincoln Casablanca is poised to redefine luxury hospitality in the region. This project not only aims to restore a once-celebrated hotel but also to enrich the local hospitality landscape by introducing modern amenities and services expected of an upper-upscale hotel.
