RNI Party's Commitment to Government Participation
On October 3, 2026, the National Council of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) concluded its extraordinary session, during which it officially declared the party's readiness to participate in the upcoming government. The party has entrusted its president, Mohamed Shawki, with the management of this participation and its related negotiations to safeguard national interests.
A statement issued by the National Council following the session emphasized the party's appreciation for the achievements of its ministers and parliamentarians during the previous governmental term. The council commended the effective institutional performance and management of the previous government, recognizing its efforts in strengthening the foundations of a social state and ensuring majority cohesion.
Moreover, the National Council congratulated the leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party for topping the results of the legislative elections held on September 23. It extended special congratulations to Fatima Zahra Mansouri on her appointment as the head of the government.
During the session, RNI president Mohamed Shawki presented a political report that included an analysis of the electoral results as well as current political and economic developments. He reaffirmed that the party will continue to be a significant political force capable of maintaining its organizational path while supporting the royal diplomacy aimed at reinforcing national territorial unity and promoting the autonomy initiative.
