Royal Air Maroc Introduces Fifth Weekly Flight from Casablanca to São Paulo
In an exciting development for international travelers, Royal Air Maroc has announced the commencement of a fifth weekly flight connecting Casablanca, Morocco, to São Paulo, Brazil, starting from October 28. This new flight frequency, which will enhance the existing service on this popular route, is part of the airline's strategic initiative to meet the growing demand for air travel between these two vibrant cities. As indicated by Othman Baba, the Regional Director for South America at Royal Air Maroc, this expansion is particularly timely, coinciding with the onset of the winter season in the Northern Hemisphere and the peak leisure travel period for Brazilian vacationers. The earlier-than-expected launch, initially slated for the end of 2026, allows Brazilian travelers to benefit from increased connectivity during a time when interest in international travel surges.
The flights from Casablanca to São Paulo will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing at 4:35 PM and arriving at São Paulo’s Guarulhos Airport at 10:20 PM local time. Conversely, flights departing from Brazil will take off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 12:25 AM, landing in Casablanca at 1:15 PM local time. The route will be serviced by the modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which is known for its efficiency and passenger comfort. With this new service, Royal Air Maroc aims to cater to the increasing number of Brazilian travelers looking to connect through Casablanca, especially those wishing to continue their journeys to Europe.
