This momentous occasion was celebrated with the first flight departing from Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca at 4:00 AM local time, establishing a streamlined 12-hour connection to the City of Angels, as detailed in a press release from the airline.

The establishment of this direct route between Casablanca and Los Angeles is hailed as a historic achievement for Royal Air Maroc and for air travel on the African continent. Hamid Addou, the CEO of Royal Air Maroc, emphasized the importance of this new connection, stating that it reinforces Morocco's role and commitment to enhancing its international presence. He noted the symbolic significance of this year, as it marks 250 years of friendship between Morocco and the United States, coinciding with the participation of Morocco's national football team, the Lions of the Atlas, in the world's largest football event.
This new service is scheduled to operate three times a week, with flights departing Casablanca on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 4:00 AM, arriving in Los Angeles at 8:20 AM local time. Return flights from Los Angeles are set to take off at 10:20 AM, landing in Casablanca the following day at 5:25 AM. The airline utilizes modern wide-body aircraft recognized for their comfort, performance, and advanced technology, ensuring an exceptional travel experience for passengers.
