Royal Air Maroc Expands Its Network in Europe
Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Morocco's national airline, has recently announced the launch of a new flight route connecting Alicante in Spain to Casablanca in Morocco. This new service, inaugurated on April 1st, aims to enhance RAM's presence in Spain, where the airline has established a robust network over the past 50 years, servicing nine airports and facilitating over 80 flights weekly to five destinations in Morocco.
The newly established Alicante-Casablanca route will operate three times a week, specifically on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, according to an announcement made by the airline. Passengers can easily book their flights through RAM's online platform, where prices for round-trip tickets start at €209 for travel between April 17 and April 29, with peak summer season fares reaching €273 from July 15 to July 31.
Connecting Passengers to a Global Network
The introduction of the Alicante-Casablanca route not only provides direct access to Morocco for the local diaspora and foreign tourists but also connects them to RAM's extensive international network through its Casablanca hub. This strategic expansion aligns with the airline's growth plans, particularly as Morocco prepares to co-host the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal. This initiative reflects RAM's commitment to enhancing travel options for passengers, facilitating business relations, and promoting tourism between these regions.
