On Thursday, a committee from the Royal Household oversaw the presentation of royal gifts to the dignitaries and followers of three notable religious schools (zawiyas) in the Tiznit region. This event marks the 28th anniversary of the passing of the late King Hassan II, may he rest in peace.
The royal gifts were presented to the leaders and representatives of the Sidi Kaka Zawiya in Aklou, Sheikh Maâ El Ainin in Tiznit, and Sidi Ahmed Oumoussa in Tazroult during religious ceremonies held at these institutions. The ceremonies were attended by several dignitaries, including Abdel Rahman Al-Johari, the provincial governor of Tiznit, along with various civil and military figures, as well as the respected members and followers of these religious schools.
During the occasion, the representatives of the zawiyas expressed their profound gratitude for the esteemed royal attention. They reaffirmed their commitment to the legitimate allegiance binding them and their loyalty to the illustrious Alaouite throne, pledging their readiness to support His Majesty the King in defending the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and safeguarding its sacred values.
The religious celebrations included recitations of verses from the Holy Quran and the chanting of hymns in praise of the Prophet Muhammad. Attendees prayed for the well-being of the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and for the comfort of His Majesty's heir, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, as well as for His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid and all members of the noble royal family.
Additionally, the participants implored the Almighty to shower His mercy and forgiveness upon the souls of the late Kings Hassan II and Mohammed V, may they both rest in peace.
