Saudi Exports Development Authority Launches Virtual Trade Mission to Morocco

Strengthening Trade Relations: A Virtual Initiative

On July 6, 2026, the Saudi Exports Development Authority successfully conducted its inaugural virtual trade mission aimed at the Moroccan market. This initiative, executed in collaboration with the Saudi Export-Import Bank, marks a significant step in enhancing the visibility of Saudi exports within regional markets while providing national companies with the opportunity to explore new avenues for export growth. The trade mission specifically focused on three key sectors: food products, building materials, and packaging.

With participation from over 70 companies from both Saudi Arabia and Morocco, this virtual mission facilitated the establishment of direct trade partnerships between businesses in the two nations. The series of online meetings allowed Saudi companies to present their products and engage in discussions regarding potential trade collaborations, thereby paving the way for the expansion of non-oil exports. The initiative underscores the commitment of the Saudi Exports Development Authority to diversify the Kingdom's economy and strengthen its trade relationships with key markets.
