Scholarships for Moroccan Students at the University of Granada: 2026/2027 Academic Year

Overview of Scholarships Available for Moroccan Students

The University of Granada is offering scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year aimed specifically at Moroccan students who have completed their baccalaureate in Spanish institutions located in Morocco. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate programs at the University of Granada, as the scholarship is contingent upon successful admission to the university. Prospective students are required to follow the admission process as regulated by the District University Commission of Andalusia, which outlines the necessary procedures and deadlines for enrollment.

Eligibility and Application Process

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be registered for a complete set of credits in their respective degree programs. Previous scholarship recipients can also apply for renewal for the 2026/2027 academic year in accordance with the guidelines specified in the scholarship call. A total of 14 scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to new students beginning their studies at the University of Granada who have graduated from Spanish educational centers in Moroccan cities including Tétouan, Alhucemas, Tangier, Nador, Casablanca, Rabat, and Larache. Additionally, provisions have been made for the renewal of up to 25 scholarships for students already enrolled at the university.

The regulatory framework for these scholarships was established in the Resolution dated June 3, 2022, by the University of Granada, which outlines the criteria for awarding scholarships and financial aid to students as part of the Annual Scholarship and Aid Plan approved by the Government Council (BOJA No. 108, dated June 8, 2022). The total funding allocated for these scholarships is capped at €140,000, which covers three specific scholarship components. The 14 new scholarships and the renewal scholarships, if granted, will be financed under Organic 3020200000, expense program 422D, with a maximum of €32,000 allocated for the year 2026 and €108,000 for 2027.

Applications and supporting documents must be submitted to the secretariat of the Spanish centers, with the application period commencing the day after the publication of this summary in the BOUGR and concluding on July 10, 2026. The full details can be found in the Official Bulletin of the University of Granada, No. 327, dated June 3, 2026.
