Scott Vincent Leads Star-Studded Field at International Series Morocco

Exciting Return of Defending Champion Scott Vincent

Next month, Rabat will witness the return of defending champion Scott Vincent, alongside other former titleholders Jazz Janewattananond and Ben Campbell, to headline a world-class lineup at the International Series Morocco, presented by Visit Morocco. This prestigious event, set to take place from June 11 to 14 at the stunning Red Course of Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, boasts a remarkable prize pool of US$2 million. It promises to attract an impressive mix of LIV Golf players, seasoned International Series champions, and the top contenders from the Asian Tour, ensuring another spectacular week in the global golf calendar.

Vincent's Momentum and Notable Competitors

Scott Vincent has become a defining figure in the International Series, making history as the first player to win the International Series Rankings twice, with triumphs in 2022 and 2025. His victory in Rabat last year, along with a runner-up finish at the Jakarta International Championship, propelled him to the top of the Rankings, a position he maintained throughout the season, which earned him a spot in the LIV Golf League. The 33-year-old is carrying this momentum into 2026, showcasing impressive performances in recent events such as a fourth-place finish at LIV Golf Mexico City and a tied-eighth result at MAADEN LIV Golf Virginia, where he stepped in to replace six-time Major champion Phil Mickelson for HyFlyers GC.

Expressing his excitement about returning to Morocco, Vincent stated, "It’s an honor to defend my title. It’s always special returning to an event that played such a big role in my career. I’ve been working hard on my game and saw some really positive signs in Mexico, while continuing to learn and improve each week, so I’m looking forward to testing myself again in Rabat." Joining Vincent is Ben Campbell, the 2024 champion, who also aims to make his mark again after catching the attention of RangeGoats GC captain Bubba Watson during the International Series. The New Zealander had a stellar season in 2024, recording multiple top-five finishes, including a runner-up spot at the Link Hong Kong Open.

Jazz Janewattananond, the inaugural champion of the International Series Morocco in 2022, will also return to Rabat as one of the most respected players on the Asian Tour. Recently, he displayed strong form with a tied-third finish at the Singapore Open, further solidifying his reputation. The list of competitors includes a formidable contingent of LIV Golf Wild Card players, such as Korea’s Richard T. Lee, who made headlines this year by finishing as a runner-up in a dramatic playoff against Bryson DeChambeau at Aramco LIV Golf Singapore. Lee’s victory at the 2024 BNI Indonesian Masters highlights his significant success within the International Series.

Japanese golfer Yosuke Asaji is set to return to the Series following a tied-12th finish at his home event earlier this year, building on a successful 2025 campaign. Filipino star Miguel Tabuena, who achieved an emotional victory at the International Series Philippines, is also looking to make an impact after finishing third in last year’s Rankings. Sweden’s Bjorn Hellgren will join the field following a breakthrough season marked by victory at the 2025 Saudi Open and a strong showing at the Singapore Open.

The competition will be further intensified by recent winners of the International Series, including Australia’s Travis Smyth and Korea’s Jeongwoo Ham, with Ham currently leading the Rankings after his impressive triumph at the Singapore Open. As the excitement builds for this marquee event, golf enthusiasts can anticipate a thrilling week of elite competition and remarkable performances on the course.
