Security Authority Denies Child Kidnapping and Organ Trafficking Rumors

Reassurance from the National Security Directorate

The National Security Directorate has firmly denied the circulating rumors on various social media platforms that suggest a systematic increase in child kidnappings linked to organ trafficking. In a statement released today, the Directorate emphasized that these claims are unfounded, exaggerated, and misrepresentative, aiming to undermine citizens' sense of security. They clarified that their offices have not recorded any cases of child abductions tied to organ trade, and highlighted that their monitoring systems, namely the "Report" and "Missing Child" initiatives, have not received any notifications corresponding to the incidents being circulated in these rumors.

Furthermore, the Directorate's information vigilance unit has identified the sharing of old recordings related to cases of missing minors, which have been republished in a systematic manner, misrepresented as recent kidnapping cases. It was clarified that these instances do not involve any criminal suspicion, yet they are being spread as if they are current abduction cases.

The release also mentioned that these malicious rumors have caused unnecessary panic among some citizens, leading to a limited number of reports regarding alleged kidnapping attempts. However, investigations carried out by the relevant authorities revealed that these incidents lack any criminal nature and are not connected to abduction or organ trafficking crimes.

In conclusion, the National Security Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to combating false news, noting that the judicial police have initiated investigations under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutors to identify those responsible for disseminating false information that could jeopardize citizens' feelings of security.
