Traffic Incident Leaves Security Officer Injured
A grave traffic accident occurred in the "Park Square" of Mohammedia, where a security officer from the traffic division was struck by two vehicles that subsequently fled the scene, according to initial reports. The collision resulted in severe injuries, including fractures to the shoulder and leg, alongside a serious head wound.
The injured officer was transported to the emergency department of Moulay Abdellah Regional Hospital for urgent medical care. However, sources indicated that he faced a wait of over an hour and a half due to challenges linked to the absence of a CT scanner at the hospital, which hindered the timely execution of necessary examinations.
In light of this situation, his colleagues took the initiative to transfer him to a private clinic to complete the required tests and receive immediate treatment. Meanwhile, the relevant authorities continue their investigation to establish the identities of the drivers responsible for the accident and to determine legal accountability.
