Warning of Extreme Temperatures Across Multiple Regions
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a new alert regarding an impending severe heatwave that is set to impact several regions. According to the directorate, the alert level for this weather condition has been classified as orange, indicating a high level of awareness and caution is necessary. This heatwave is expected to commence tomorrow, Tuesday, and will persist until the following Friday.
Geographical Distribution of Expected Temperatures
In terms of geographical distribution, temperatures are forecasted to soar between 43 and 45 degrees Celsius in regions such as Zakoura, Tata, Smara, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, and the areas of Oued Ed-Dahab and Awsard. Furthermore, other regions will also experience significant heat, with temperatures ranging from 40 to 43 degrees Celsius. Specifically, this range will affect the provinces and prefectures of Youssoufia, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Errachidia, Khenifra, Boulemane, Chichaoua, Ksarif, Taounate, Taza, Taroudant, Tinghir, Khouribga, Settat, and many more, including Marrakech, Rhamna, Figuig, Jerada, Oujda Angad, Taourirt, and Guelmim.
