The second phenomenon is a heatwave, with temperatures predicted to soar between 45 and 48 degrees Celsius. This too has been classified under an orange alert and will affect the regions of Oued Eddahab, Boujdour, Assa-Zag, Smara, and Tata, from Wednesday until Friday, August 14. The meteorological authority has advised citizens, especially those in the regions affected by these two phenomena, to exercise caution and adhere to safety guidelines while closely monitoring subsequent updates that may be issued by the relevant authorities as the weather situation evolves.
