Intense Thunderstorm Alert for Monday and Tuesday
The General Directorate of Meteorology in Morocco has issued a warning regarding severe thunderstorms accompanied by hail and strong winds expected to affect several regions across the kingdom today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday. According to the meteorological bulletin categorized as 'orange alert', significant rainfall is anticipated, with estimates ranging between 50 to 80 millimeters in the provinces of Boujdour, Oued Eddahab, and Assa-Zag. In other areas, including Laayoune, Smara, and Tarfaya, rainfall amounts are expected to be between 30 to 50 millimeters. The storm activity is forecasted to occur today starting from 2 PM and will continue until 11 PM tomorrow.
