The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for strong local thunderstorms accompanied by hail, anticipated on Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, across various regions of Morocco. This weather alert is classified as ‘Orange’ level, indicating a significant weather event that residents should prepare for.

According to the meteorological bulletin, areas expected to experience strong thunderstorms with precipitation levels ranging from 25 to 35 millimeters include the provinces of Errachidia, Midelt, Tata, Tinghir, Figuig, Azilal, Marrakech, Khouribga, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Kelaa des Sraghna, Essaouira, Rhamna, and Youssoufia. The thunderstorms are forecasted to begin today, Wednesday, at 10:00 AM and will continue until tomorrow, Thursday, at 1:00 AM. Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during this severe weather event.
