Severe Weather Alerts for Monday and Tuesday
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued weather warnings indicating that several regions of the kingdom will experience strong thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and localized hail on Monday and Tuesday. The alert, rated at an "Orange" level, suggests significant rainfall amounts ranging from 30 to 40 millimeters in several provinces, including Khemisset, Sidi Slimane, Khénifra, Khouribga, Fkih Ben Salah, Azilal, Béni Mellal, Settat, Marrakech, Qalaat Sraghna, Al Haouz, and Rhamna. This weather pattern is expected to occur on Monday from 2 PM until 11 PM.
Additionally, the meteorological service anticipates similar weather phenomena (with rainfall amounts between 25 and 30 millimeters) in the regions of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Driouch, Taza, and Taounate, starting from Monday at 6 PM until Tuesday at 6 AM. Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions as these weather conditions can lead to potential hazards and disruptions.
