On July 13, in Doha, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomed His Excellency Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister of Morocco, at the Lusail Palace. This meeting took place during a time of mourning for the Emir, as Prime Minister Akhannouch extended his condolences for the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the father of the current Emir. The reception was attended by several dignitaries, including His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir; His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the personal representative of the Emir; and other members of the royal family, such as Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani and Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani.
