Lawyers Make a Strong Showing in the Moroccan Parliament
The recent legislative elections in Morocco have resulted in a notable presence of lawyers within the Parliament, with a total of 16 lawyers successfully securing parliamentary seats. In El Jadida, Professor Nadia Noyam secured a parliamentary seat for the Democratic Forces Front, while Samira Outaleb from the Fez Bar made her entry under the Justice and Development Party. Lastly, Amin El Metiwi from the Tetouan Bar successfully joined the Parliament as part of the Istiqlal Party, and Bouabid Kabouri from the Khouribga Bar also represented the Justice and Development Party.
