Established in 2003 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, SOREC is dedicated to the equine sector in Morocco, focusing on horse breeding, the development of horse racing, and the management of equine games. The organization also collaborates with horse societies and breeders' associations to enhance reproductive practices, equine health, genetic improvement, veterinary care, and the management of facilities dedicated to horses.

Available Positions
Veterinarian / Reproduction and Breeding Officer in Marrakech
The successful candidate will supervise activities related to equine reproduction, ensure the health monitoring of horses, maintain technical and administrative quality in reproduction processes, manage feeding and performance tracking, lead and coordinate relevant teams, and contribute to the genetic improvement of the herd. Applicants should be veterinarians with 5 to 10 years of experience in the equine field.
Veterinarian / Reproduction and Equine Health Officer in Oujda
This position involves managing technical reproduction activities, monitoring the health status of horses, organizing and overseeing veterinary operations, ensuring quality nutrition and health monitoring, and leading the dedicated team. Candidates must possess a Bac+5 degree or higher with a veterinary and equine focus.
Groom in Morocco (2 Positions)
Grooms will be responsible for the daily feeding of horses, ensuring their general well-being and care, monitoring their health and reporting any abnormalities, maintaining stables and infrastructure, and contributing to reproduction and care activities. Candidates should have a qualification in animal production or a related field, along with knowledge of equine nutrition, care, and breeding.
Veterinary Technician in Bouskoura (2 Positions)
The veterinary technician will support the veterinary team in monitoring horses, prepare necessary equipment for procedures and analyses, assist in clinical examinations and care, manage supplies of products and equipment, contribute to analyses and maintain veterinary records, and ensure compliance with service duty schedules. Applicants should hold a Bac+2 or Bac+3 diploma and have approximately two years of experience in the equine field, with a strong understanding of equine physiology and clinical analysis techniques.
Assistant Caregiver in Bouskoura
This role involves ensuring the well-being and hygiene of hospitalized horses, assisting with daily care following veterinary instructions, monitoring horse conditions and reporting changes, maintaining the cleanliness of animal facilities, and supporting veterinarians and technicians during interventions. Candidates should have at least a Bac or Bac+2 level of education and approximately two years of experience in the equine sector, along with proficiency in horse handling.
