Marrakech Hosts Meeting to Showcase Social Support Services for Educators
Last Monday evening, Marrakech played host to a significant meeting dedicated to presenting the services and recent developments of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Advancement of Social Work in Education and Training. This event took place at the conference center of Cadi Ayyad University and was organized by the Regional Academy for Education and Training in the Marrakech-Safi region in partnership with the university. The gathering brought together numerous educational stakeholders and sector officials, focusing on providing an updated overview of the social services available to educators, while also spotlighting the foundation's new initiatives that are set to launch.
Mohammed Taknawi, the communication officer at the academy, emphasized in a statement to hespress.com, that the meeting provided an opportunity to detail programs related to social support, health coverage, housing, and recreational services. He pointed out that the foundation is aiming to expand the circle of beneficiaries while gradually enhancing the quality of services offered.
Yasra Maghari, the communication officer at the university's presidency, remarked that the meeting facilitated direct discussions between officials and educational practitioners, where expectations and feedback regarding the services provided by the foundation were shared in an open and interactive atmosphere. She noted that hosting such events in a university setting underscores the institution's role in supporting social initiatives and fostering communication bridges between educational institutions and stakeholders in the education and training sector.
The meeting featured various presentations introducing the foundation's areas of intervention, alongside an open discussion with attendees who raised questions and suggestions primarily focused on improving and expanding services. This communication event reflects a growing trend towards enhancing the social dimension within the education sector, amidst challenges related to improving the conditions of educational staff and adapting to the transformations occurring within the field.
We extend our gratitude to the Mohammed VI Foundation for its commendable efforts to enhance the status of educators and trainers, and we hope for an increase in its initiatives aimed at serving the nation's builders and the shapers of future generations.
