On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Samir El Yezidi, the governor of the Al-Qalaâ des Sraghna region, presided over an official meeting aimed at signing four new agreements that fall under the National Initiative for Human Development programs. The meeting was attended by the secretary-general of the prefecture, the regional director of the education, preschool, and sports sector, the head of the social work department, as well as representatives from decentralized services, local community partners, and civil society associations.

The four signed agreements encompass a variety of qualitative projects, including support for educational and sporting activities, the establishment of a school development center in rural areas, the enhancement of sports transportation facilities, and the launch of a program titled “Study and Sport.” The total financial allocation for these initiatives is estimated at approximately 1.65 million dirhams.
