The Regional Academy for Education and Training of Guelmim-Walidun also participated in this event with three teams competing in the under-15 female category, the under-18 female category, and the under-18 male category.

Community Mobilization and Social Services in Education

Recently, the Regional Directorate of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports in Sidi Ifni organized a meeting focused on collective mobilization for pioneering educational institutions and preparatory schools. During this meeting, which aimed to activate programs to enhance the quality of learning and promote the implementation of pioneering educational projects, the regional director, Rashid Bashara, emphasized the significance of collective mobilization and the active participation of all educational stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the pioneering educational model. He highlighted the necessity of adopting a participatory approach based on continuous coordination and intensifying monitoring mechanisms. Participants stressed the importance of establishing regional plans to activate educational support programs, reduce school failure, and enhance school life activities, contributing to improved educational outcomes. This meeting served as an opportunity to discuss practical ways to implement various measures related to field support, including organizing regular visits to educational institutions.

The topic of social services for the education and training family was the focus of a recent communication meeting organized in Guelmim by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Advancement of Social Services for Education and Training, aimed at the staff and employees of the Regional Academy for Education and Training of Guelmim-Walidun. The organization of this meeting falls within the framework of informational days and communication meetings planned by the Foundation for the year 2026 in various regions of the Kingdom. The director of the Regional Academy for Education and Training of Guelmim-Walidun, in a speech delivered on his behalf, highlighted the pivotal role of the Mohammed VI Foundation in supporting educators through an integrated system of social, health, and housing services, in addition to solidarity initiatives and supporting programs aimed at improving the social and professional conditions of the education family. He noted that caring for the social and professional circumstances of this group is a fundamental pillar for the success of various educational reform efforts, considering that investing in the human capital of the educational system is a key entry point for enhancing the quality of public schools and improving their performance. This meeting also served as a platform to strengthen direct communication with the Foundation's members within this academy and its affiliated regional directorates, to understand their expectations and concerns while listening to their opinions and suggestions, with a view to developing and enhancing the quality of the Foundation's services.
