This program, spanning from August 3 to 22, saw the participation of 19 athletes and was aimed at enhancing the national teams' readiness ahead of their upcoming competitions. The initiative is a crucial part of the UAE Golf Federation's strategy to cultivate a generation of players who can compete effectively and achieve commendable results across local, Gulf, Arab, and international tournaments.

This training camp was made possible through a strategic partnership between the UAE Golf Federation and the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, which provided a professional training environment along with advanced facilities, allowing for a comprehensive training program under the supervision of national teams' coaching and administrative staff.

The camp offered an intensive schedule filled with specialized technical training sessions, physical preparation, performance measurement, and analysis. Notably, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the honorary president of the UAE Golf Federation, visited the national teams during the camp. His presence underscored the federation's commitment to ensuring the well-being of the players and the coaching staff while monitoring the progress of the training program amidst the camp's dynamic environment.

He commended their dedication to providing optimal conditions for the national teams, expressing hopes that the UAE teams continue to shine in the sport and achieve further successes that reflect the ongoing advancement of golf in the country.

A Pivotal Moment

The conclusion of the Morocco camp comes at a critical juncture for the national teams as they prepare for the new season, with the first major event being the Nomura Cup, which will take place in Beijing, China, from August 29 to September 5. This competition will serve as a significant opportunity for the UAE players to showcase their skills on an international platform.
