Empowering Youth Through Summer Camps
The summer camps organized in the Casablanca-Settat region serve as a vital platform for children and youth, offering them the chance to embrace universal human values and adopt the principles of citizenship. The region is recognized as one of the premier destinations for summer camps in Morocco, thanks to its natural advantages and the presence of three major national camp centers: the Bouznika-Plage National Center, the Al Alia Center in Mohammedia, and the El Haouzia National Center.
These facilities are uniquely situated in an exceptional geographical environment, which combines an expansive coastline, forests that border the sea, river mouths, and proximity to historical sites. This setting provides participants with a safe and conducive atmosphere for engaging in discovery and environmental awareness activities. In a statement to the MAP, Zakaria Bendali, the head of the Youth and Sports Service at the regional youth directorate in Casablanca-Settat, emphasized the ongoing commitment to implement the National Summer Camp Program for 2026, in collaboration with the National Federation of Summer Camps and various institutional partners.
