Swedish Citizen Arrested in Tangier for Attempted Murder
The local police in Tangier successfully apprehended a 22-year-old Swedish national today, September 16, 2026, following a coordinated operation with the General Directorate of National Security. This individual is under an international arrest warrant issued by Swedish judicial authorities, suspected of involvement in an attempted murder case.
According to available information, the suspect's identification check revealed that he was sought internationally, as indicated by a Red Notice from Interpol, which was requested by the Swedish authorities. During the arrest, the individual was caught using a forged identity and presented a fake driver's license containing falsified personal information.
