Update on Kénitra-Marrakech High-Speed Rail Service

The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has announced that travelers utilizing the Kénitra-Marrakech high-speed rail service will experience temporary disruptions over the upcoming weeks as construction progresses on the high-speed line. These disruptions will occur in two phases, with the first phase taking place on September 5 and 6, 2026.   • Settat Line: Temporary suspension of services, directing passengers to Al Atlas trains.
  • Airport Line: Train services will be suspended, replaced by Supratours bus shuttles.
  • Safi-Casablanca: Direct train service between these cities will be halted.
  • Khouribga: Train services will be limited to Berrechid, with connections to Al Atlas trains.
  • Al Atlas Trains: Travelers should expect delays and changes in travel times.

The second phase of the disruption will see a new transport plan begin on September 14, 2026. This plan is designed to accommodate the ongoing construction while ensuring continued service and minimizing the impact on passengers. Key elements of this plan include adjustments to certain routes, modifications of schedules, limitations on travel distances, and the gradual closure of select stations, including the Facultés and Ennassim stations.
