According to reports from _Al Akhbar_, the controversy stems from professors who have raised concerns about the legitimacy of the jury point allocation method, which they claim was introduced by the school's administration without any legal framework or established internal regulations. This practice, they argue, undermines the principle of equal opportunity among students, creating an uneven playing field.
In defense of the method, the administration asserts that this approach allows jury members to exercise discretion in granting leniency to students who are on the cusp of passing, thus promoting fairness in exceptional cases. The situation recalls a previous incident involving 124 second-year students who failed during the 2024-2025 academic year. This incident led to judicial intervention, resulting in the annulment of contested results and subsequent deliberations that reaffirmed the students' failures. Additionally, the school has faced other challenges, including a legal case against a faculty member who was sentenced to four months in prison for defaming the deputy director by accusing him of impersonating an official in an email sent to fellow faculty members.
