Celebrating Solidarity and Competition at the 16th National Mini-Foot Championship
The 16th edition of the National Mini-Foot Championship for teachers is taking place from May 3 to May 7 in Marrakech, bringing together delegations from across the Kingdom. Originally planned for Tan-Tan, the event was relocated to Marrakech at short notice, showcasing the resilience and commitment of the local organization committee. This year's competition not only emphasizes athletic prowess but also fosters values such as cohesion, solidarity, and fair play within the educational community.
Organized under the aegis of the National Foundation for Social Works in Education and in partnership with the Marrakech-Safi Regional Academy, the event enjoys support from various local stakeholders, including municipal councils and private partners. The slogan for this year's championship is "Prioritizing the Institutional Interest... Marrakech Welcomes and the Championship Continues," reflecting the collective spirit and dedication to ensuring the success of this significant event.
From the outset, the organizing committee has been busy preparing for the arrival of participants representing various regional academies and provincial directorates. With logistical arrangements in place, including suitable accommodation at the Teachers' Residence in Daoudiate and access to sports facilities, the championship aims to provide an optimal experience for all involved. Matches will be held at covered halls in M'hamid, Al Azzouzia, and Ennakhil, accommodating everything from preliminary rounds to the finals.
This championship has become a key event in the educational calendar, reinforcing the importance of communication, solidarity, and fair play among educators. Additionally, it serves as a catalyst for enhancing the sporting and cultural life within the educational sector, coinciding with the celebrations of Labor Day. The tournament will culminate on May 7 with an official awards ceremony, celebrating not just the athletic achievements but also the unifying spirit that the event embodies.
