Expanded Format for the 18th International Agricultural Fair in Morocco
Under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the city of Meknes will host the 18th edition of the International Agricultural Fair from April 20 to April 28, 2026. This year’s fair, themed "Sustainability of Animal Production and Food Sovereignty," will feature Portugal as the guest of honor.
In response to the overwhelming success of previous fairs, which garnered significant attention from professionals and the general public alike, the duration of the event has been extended to nine days, compared to the usual seven. Thus, the fair will be open to professionals from April 20 to April 28, and to the general public from April 22 to April 28, 2026.
This edition will build upon the themes discussed in past fairs, particularly focusing on the challenges of sustainability and resilience within the agricultural sector. The 2026 fair aims to highlight advancements made in the development of livestock production chains, particularly regarding animal health, food safety, and the economic and technical performance of livestock units.
Since its inception, the International Agricultural Fair in Morocco has established itself as a significant event on both national and international agricultural agendas, creating a platform for decision-makers, economic actors, professionals, local stakeholders, and international partners to converge. This upcoming edition is expected to attract around 1,500 exhibitors and representatives from 70 countries, alongside hosting over 40 seminars.
