The newly developed green spaces at the base of the Mohammed VI Tower have become a major attraction in the area, drawing large crowds every evening. This landscaping project represents the final phase of the architectural masterpiece that began construction on November 1, 2018.
The landscaped gardens surrounding the tower are adorned with ornamental plants and feature relaxation zones equipped with benches. From these vantage points, guests can appreciate the stunning views of the Bouregreg Valley, which has been completely revitalized as part of an extensive urban development initiative guided by royal directives. The Bouregreg River, which flows through the valley, adds a delightful touch of tranquility to this already remarkable environment, making it one of the most notable spots in the Kingdom.
Visitors have expressed their admiration for the newly established spaces, with one couple from Meknes praising the quality of the facilities and thanking the local authorities for this achievement. They also expressed hope that similar projects could emerge in other cities throughout the Kingdom. The Mohammed VI Tower itself is a striking multifunctional skyscraper standing at 250 meters tall, comprising 55 levels and located in Salé, near Rabat. It houses high-end residences, offices, and the prestigious Waldorf Astoria hotel. Its southern facade is equipped with photovoltaic panels, enhancing its energy efficiency, and the construction of this iconic structure involved an investment of approximately 6.5 billion dirhams.
