Experience Casablanca Like Never Before
This year, the Théatrajeunes collective is set to enthrall audiences with their unique adaptation of the iconic film 'Casablanca', which originally stems from the play 'Everybody Comes to Rick's' by Joan Alison and Murray Burnett. Driven by a desire to return to the roots of this timeless story, the young theater enthusiasts have embraced the challenge of presenting this classic tale in its original theatrical form. Set against the backdrop of World War II, the narrative takes place in Rick Blaine's bar, where the cynical American expatriate navigates a world filled with resistance fighters desperate for freedom and ruthless Nazis. Amidst this turmoil, a poignant love story resurfaces, echoing the pain of a shared past. The Théatrajeunes collective invites everyone to witness their rendition of 'Casablanca' during five scheduled performances on July 3rd at 8 PM, and on July 4th and 5th at both 3 PM and 8 PM at the MJC of Onet-le-Château.
