Significant Drug Busts in France Tied to Moroccan Trafficking Networks
In a monumental crackdown on drug trafficking, French authorities have successfully seized nearly 2.7 tons of illegal substances, primarily cannabis resin, at the port of Sète in southern France. In a related incident on May 19, police arrested seven individuals who were in the process of unloading a container from the port of Le Havre. Inside this container, authorities found 1.1 tons of cannabis buds, meticulously packaged in heat-sealed bags, alongside 30 kilograms of cannabis pollen and 78 kilograms of cannabis resin concealed within clothing boxes.
