Trade Union Arm of the Independence Party Holds Supportive Gathering in Marrakech
The regional office of the General Union of Workers in Morocco is set to host a significant speech gathering in the Mahamid area of the Menara district on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Under the theme "Together for Serving the Citizen and the Nation," this event aims to rally support for the party’s candidates in the upcoming local elections. The gathering is part of the communication activities associated with the party's election program, focusing specifically on bolstering the candidacy of its representatives in three local electoral districts in Marrakech, as well as supporting the female candidate on the regional women's list for the Marrakech-Safi region.
Attendees of this pivotal meeting will include prominent figures such as Abdel Razaq Ahlouch, the party's candidate in the Menara district, Abdul Aziz Darwish, who is running in the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali district, and Anas Al-Houji, the party's candidate in the Gueliz-Nakhil district. Additionally, Salma Ahlouch, the female candidate for the regional women’s list, will also participate.
The speech gathering is expected to be guided by influential leaders like Youssef Alalakouch, the General Secretary of the General Union of Workers in Morocco, and Mohamed Mabtahij, the regional secretary of the union in Marrakech.
