The Eastern Security Directorate has successfully uncovered the shocking circumstances surrounding a murder that transpired in the village of Herbait, part of the Abu Kabir district. Authorities discovered the lifeless body of a 66-year-old man named Ahmed M.S. within a livestock pen on his agricultural land. Upon receiving reports about the discovery of the deceased, a specialized criminal investigation team was promptly established to delve into the details of the incident and identify the perpetrator. Under the leadership of Captain Ahmed Abdel Bari, head of the Abu Kabir police station’s investigations, the team collected evidence that pointed to a 43-year-old agricultural worker, who lived next door to the victim, as the main suspect.
