Esperance Sports Club Signs Moroccan Talent Imad Faraj
The Tunisian football club, Esperance Sportive de Tunis, has officially announced the signing of Moroccan player Imad Faraj from the Azerbaijani club Neftchi. This acquisition marks a significant addition to the team's roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Imad Faraj, who is 27 years old, has secured a three-year contract with Esperance. According to the Tunisian news agency, the club has completed all necessary formalities related to the transfer, which is set to bolster their squad significantly. Faraj began his football career at the Lille Academy in France, where he rose through the ranks and gained valuable experience playing professionally in Europe. His previous stints include notable appearances for Belgian club Mouscron and Cypriot side AEK Larnaca.
In addition to Faraj, Esperance has enhanced its lineup during the summer transfer window by acquiring several other players, including Brazilian Lucas Ribeiro, Peruvian Jesus Castillo, and Cameroonian Mouniebi.
