The officer was apprehended while driving on the highway connecting Tangier and Rabat, where authorities seized over 5,150 narcotic pills and 45 grams of cocaine, along with a sum of cash in Moroccan currency. Following the arrest, the officer and his sister were placed in custody, and the General Directorate of National Security has also suspended him from his duties while the case progresses through the judicial system.
